About Magical Girl:
The song started with a drumbeat that came up after drummer Tommy Sjöström listened to some songs by bands like 13th Floor Elevators and The Byrds. The drumbeat was played for Ulrika Wennström who added the very cool melodic bass line. Then the others added their psychedelic guitar and vocal ideas and this is how it came out. The song is about one of many magical girls who don't fit into our 9 to 5 world.
